CJISST PARTNERS

The Central Jersey Invasive Species Strike Team has grown rapidly since its start in 2008. Our partnerships have grown to include over 50 groups who each contribute to the program’s success. CJISST covers 1.6 million acres across 9 counties—Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Somerset and Union.

CJISST offers training and resources to assist partners and synthesizes data collected on detection of emerging invasive species and eradication efforts. If you are outside our project area, please contact us to learn more about establishing an early detection & rapid response (ED/RR) cooperative in your area.
